This month Christmas has come early for us. We had water lines installed throughout most of the farm. The lines run to our: orchard, goat barn, raised garden beds, high tunnel, a new livestock self watering trough, and a few more areas for future projects in the works. This will allow us to have more accessibility to water, (no more dragging garden hoses all over the farm or carrying water buckets, yay!) the self-watering trough speaks for itself but I'm exciting the livestock will have access to frost-free water year around (no more breaking ice, whoop whoop) and we will be able to add timers to the orchard, garden, and high tunnel for consistancy and to help with time management. We also have a professional coming soon to install over 1600' of interior, rotational fencing so we can add an additional 6 acres of pasture grazing for the livestock. This will allow us to begin rotational grazing with our sheep and we will be able to purchase a few beef cows and possibly broiler chickens to our farm soon. We look forward to spending the holidays with our family, especially our first grandbaby's first Christmas this year. God is good! Happy holidays to your and your families.
